This is a Nema 17 Stepper Motor that is 40mm long. It is a 1.8 degree model with a 2 amp maximum current rating. It can be driven directly from the Cohesion3D LaserBoard by plugging it into the stepper driver output header and setting the current to 1.2 amps in the board’s configuration. This is a good option for a self-made Rotary or Z-table.
Note that the the K40 and similar machines use a 0.9 degree stepper motor for X and a dual shaft motor for Y so this would not be a suitable direct replacement for those.
